Grey Parrot Publishers came into existence in 2012. Founded by an experienced journalist, it has a commitment to its readers and writers, covering every gamut of publishing. Therefore ‘Publishing with a purpose’ is the main thought and theme of this mid-sized publishing house. It started up with a humble beginning. In 2013 it had just one title in its lap. Cut to 2019 it has published more than 150 titles. It has expanded its portfolio of titles across genres. It includes pure fiction and narrative non-fiction touching most of the book publishing categories i.e. politics, biography, history, business, lifestyle, health 7 fitness, sports, and travel.

Grey Parrot’s USP is its commissioning process and philosophy. We are more on the side of commissioning our own themes and ideas than struggling with and depending on submissions. We have a team that is bubbling with ideas and modern themes to attract more readers. We are a consumer (reader) oriented publishing company.

Our speciality is our ‘bespoke services’. We have been providing a full spectrum of bespoke services to our clients. In this domain, our association with the clients starts with at an early stage. From ideation to writing to editing to designing to final delivery of the books, we have a rich list of contented customers. This list includes individuals, businesses, organizations, and diverse social groups.

As far as the vernacular languages market is concerned, we have started publishing with Hindi since 2020 and have ambitious plans to publish books in other major languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Bangla, Gurumukhi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
